Job Description

This is a fixed-term position until January 2026. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the social media strategy for Bradford 2025. They will plan, develop, and deliver social media campaigns to increase followers, engagement, and brand awareness. The manager will also be responsible for day-to-day management of social media channels, content planning and scheduling, and managing the production and sharing of social media assets. They will collaborate with various departments to promote events and activities and work with the press and marketing teams to manage public relations priorities and paid social strategies.

Requirements

• Two years’ experience in a social media role
• Experience in developing and implementing social media campaigns
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A passion for social media and strong understanding of various platforms and best practices
• Understanding of social media analytics tools
• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Possess a creative, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills

Additional Information
