Client: TECHNOID INC.

Location: Mississauga, ON, Canada

Contract: Part Time

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Videographer/Video Editor on a 2 month contract. It can be extended based off your performance. Candidates must have 3+ years of experience, a post-secondary degree from an accredited college or university in Video Design, Multimedia Design, or a related field, as well as a strong portfolio of past work. A copy or link to your portfolio is required prior to a virtual or in-person interview; applicants without a portfolio will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities: As the videographer/video editor, your responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:

  • Studio shooting
  • Lighting and audio set up
  • Post-production (Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere)
  • Executing all aspects of video from pre-production through post-production including storyboarding, shooting, editing, sound mixing, and color correction.
  • Writing video scripts and creating a storyboard to pair with it
  • Video editing for social media platforms
  • Filming and editing content for various videos such as product promotions, installations, etc.
  • Independent working environment

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience filming, editing, and creating video campaigns with a strong portfolio
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma, Video Design, Multimedia Design or similar program
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects)
  • Strong attention to detail while being able to effectively manage multiple, competing priorities
  • Ability to work energetically and creatively in a team environment or independently
  • Knowledge of all aspects of video shooting and post-production, including camera/audio operation, lighting, and location management
  • Strong ability to select key moments in an array of raw footage
  • Experience executing all aspects of video from pre-production through post-production including storyboarding, shooting, editing, sound mixing, and color correction.
  • A link to a portfolio/previous works (Applicants without a portfolio will not be considered)
  • Self-motivated, problem solver with good time management skills
  • Project management skills & interpersonal skills
  • Experience writing video scripts and creating a storyboard to pair with it
  • Experience filming and editing content for various videos such as case studies, product promotions, installations, events, webinars, etc.
  • Experience video editing for social media platforms

Preferred Qualifications and Competencies:

The following qualifications/competencies are considered an asset:

  • Photography experience
  • Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Audition

Other Information:

  • Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
  • Contract length: 2 months
  • Salary: $4,000.00-$5,000.00 per month
  • Expected hours: 40 per week
  • Flexible Language Requirement: French not required
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
