Job Description

Our client is looking for a part-time, on-demand creative design talent to complement their team of innovative problem-solvers. The designer will be responsible for applying creative concepts and visual perspectives to the agency’s clients’ communication and campaigns. The ideal candidate should have advanced creativity skills in the Adobe Creative Cloud, front-end website development, project management abilities, and proficiency in other design tools. Video editing skills are preferred but not required.

Requirements

• A strong portfolio highlighting creative capabilities
• Exceptional skills in using the Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe XD, etc., and website platforms like WordPress, Wix, etc.
• Demonstrable technical skills, attention to detail, and other production design skills
• Track record of creativity and originality in design
• Ability to convey the vision of how the project should look when completed
• Provide rationale behind design choices while being open to feedback and input from other team members and clients
• Elevate designs and presentations to the “next level” through brand enhancements, modernizations, and a comprehensive vision of the campaign, strategy, or project
• Capacity to take a project from concept to design, to layout, and to the final deliverable
• Current with design trends and eager to explore what’s new and next

Client Management Skills

• Contribute to client meetings/calls walking the client through the agenda and providing relevant updates and feedback
• Develop client rapport as appropriate for the project

Project Management Skills

• Collaborate with the team to understand project parameters, deadlines, and communication process with team and clients
• Clearly articulate timelines for deliverables and hit deadlines as agreed to
• Use agency project management tools
• Provide proactive internal client updates

Other Information

• Start date: Mid-May to mid-July
• Duration: 3 months, part-time, on-demand
• Location: Remote for candidates outside Milwaukee area; hybrid for candidates who can make it to the office
• Compensation: Negotiable, commensurate with experience
• All candidates must be located and authorized to work in the United States. C2 does not sponsor work visas.
