Location: Oakland, United States

Contract: Part Time

Job Description:

Urbana is a leading cannabis dispensary brand in California with two locations in San Francisco. We are seeking a contract Graphic Designer to join our marketing team. As a Graphic Designer, you will work closely with the Marketing Manager to design sales, marketing, and social media content. This is a part-time position requiring 10-15 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all graphic design needs for marketing campaigns from start to finish (print and digital)
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to understand strategy, business goals, and timelines
  • Follow brand guidelines to create compelling visual content
  • Fast turnaround for marketing content updates
  • Additional marketing tasks as assigned

Skills & Requirements:

  • 4+ years of graphic design experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design preferred

Skills that set you apart:

  • Deep knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Familiarity with Google Slides
  • Strong design principles and ability to absorb feedback
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Time management skills to handle multiple projects with various deadlines
  • A creative mindset to bring designs to life
  • Flexibility to switch between tasks
  • Self-initiative and ability to lead design projects
  • Ability to seek creative solutions when faced with challenges
  • Experience working in a marketing department is a plus
