Job Description:

As a Wedding Videographer, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality videos & sound for engaged couples on their wedding day. Your role will involve working closely with engaged couples to understand their wedding day vision, show up on the wedding day, and cinematically document their wedding on video.

Responsibilities:

• Attend weekly Filmmaking Masters team Zoom calls / professional growth workshops
• Collaborate with clients to determine wedding day goals, objectives, and creative direction
• Plan and execute video shoots, including set-up, lighting (if necessary), and record sound
• Operate cameras, lenses, and other equipment to capture footage
• Upload wedding footage from SD cards to our Google Drive folder

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a photographer or videographer
• Owns a camera with video capabilities
• Familiarity with using a mirrorless camera
• Excellent attention to day of wedding day details
• Ability to work a minimum of 10-20 weekends in the year (dependent on how many weddings you want to accept)
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, other vendors, and team members

Additional Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have a passion/curiosity for videography and/or a portfolio showcasing your previous work. You will also need to own a mirrorless camera with HD 1080p 60fps video capabilities and have sound equipment of your own.

Additionally, the following skills are required:

• Familiarity in using professional video equipment, including cameras, lenses, natural lighting, and audio recording devices
• Knowledge of industry-standard video formats and codecs
• Ability to adapt to different shooting environments & adjust camera settings accordingly + monitor camera to keep subjects in focus (VERY IMPORTANT)
• Understanding of composition, framing, and visual storytelling techniques
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Must know how to use Zoom to attend weekly team Zoom calls / workshops

Other Information:

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Freelance

Pay: $400.00 - $500.00 per day

Expected hours: 8 – 10 per week
