Job Description:

Stefanini is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to build and drive the strategy forward for their internal AI/ML platform. The position will collaborate with business partners, product managers, and designers, and will release early and often. The Engineer will work on supporting ML Practitioners and Data Scientists on their AI/ML platform journey, focusing on Mach1ML adoption and AI/ML democratization. This role requires experience in Python, Machine Learning Technologies or Deep Learning, exceptional software engineering knowledge, and experience working with Google Cloud Platform or other cloud platforms. The Engineer will work closely with Tech Anchor, Product Manager, and Product Owner using Agile Methodology to deliver machine learning use cases. They will also collaborate with other Software and ML Engineers to tackle challenging AI problems and leverage the latest ML and GCP technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field of study
• 2+ years of experience in Python, Machine Learning Technologies or Deep Learning
• 3+ years of work experience as a software engineer with exceptional software engineering knowledge
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform or other cloud experience
• Experience working with Tech Anchor, Product Manager, and Product Owner using Agile Methodology
• Experience working with other Software and ML Engineers
• Experience with the latest ML and GCP technologies
• Experience working with Architects on technical decisions
• Experience driving PoCs/Discoveries of new tools and technologies
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Good understanding of cloud design considerations and limitations

Additional Information:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study is preferred
• Experience working with Google Cloud platform is preferred
• Experience with Python and Machine Learning tools (pytorch, tensorflow, xgboost, etc.)
• Experience using orchestration tools like Airflow
• Experience or knowledge of Deep Learning, LLM is a plus
• Experience in Software Craftsmanship such as Paired Programming, Test Driven Development, DevOps, etc.
• Experience working with container technology, docker files, docker images, GitHub, CI/CD concepts
• Experience applying Agile practices to solution delivery
• Must be a self-starter and open to learning new technology
• Good understanding of cloud design considerations and limitations and impact of pricing
