A dark comedy film about Arthur, a man grappling with his wife’s terminal illness and seeking solace in conversations with his childhood toy dinosaur, Rex. The story delves into themes of grief, denial, and surreal coping mechanisms, culminating in a bank heist to pay for his wife’s specialised treatment.

Needs: I’m looking for a co-writer who can bring a unique voice to this project, particularly in crafting dialogue that balances dark humor with emotional depth. The co-writer should be skilled in character development, especially in portraying complex psychological dynamics and blending realism with surreal elements. The goal is to create a poignant yet humorously absurd narrative that resonates with audiences and explores the human condition through a unique lens.

Who are you, and what do you do?
I’m a writer, producer and director, my company is Running Riot Pictures whom are specialising in making independent films based on merit of the story alone.

When do you need you project delivered?
At the moment I am just looking to make a great script, I have already wrote a trademarked treatment as the framework to the story but need an actual screenplay.

Can you provide examples of your preferred style?
Basically, if you watch The Thick of It, the movie Free Fire and Joker. It toes the line between dark comedy whilst being surprisingly gut wrenchingly emotional at times. also listen to some Hans Zimmer!
