Job Description

Kosmos Post is seeking a part-time Junior Video Editor located in Bloomington, IL for a hybrid role with the flexibility to work from home. Daily tasks will include organizing media, assembling footage, creating captions, and editing video projects in the Adobe Suite. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a self-starter disposition, with keen attention to detail, and a hunger for creative excellence in the field of post-production.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Experience in Photoshop, After Effects, and/or Adobe Audition is a plus
• Appreciation for fundamental design principles, including placement, color, sound, graphics, and pacing
• Ability to absorb feedback, implement lessons learned in new projects, and continuously grow as an editor

Additional Details

• Rate: $14.00
• Hours per week: 10
• Location: Candidates must be local to Bloomington-Normal, Illinois, or the surrounding area, with the ability to interview in person, attend in-person meetings, and hand off hard drives as necessary.
• Technology: To work remotely, candidates must possess the technology required to efficiently fulfill their job requirements from home. This includes a computer capable of video editing, a desktop monitor, microphone and headphones for virtual meetings, and high-speed internet.
