Job Description
Altice USA is looking for a Freelance Video Editor to edit video for news programs, live coverage, breaking news, and other productions. The role involves creating visually compelling content that accurately represents the news and turning it into finished products.
Responsibilities include creating tagged commercials for cross channels, analyzing and recommending solutions for editorial needs, working with lead editors and design teams, meeting tight deadlines, creating internal and external company communication, and collaborating with other editors to achieve team goals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of digital post-production experience
- 2+ years in a high-pressure environment meeting deadlines
- Strong understanding of digital workflows, frame rates, and resolutions
- Ability to read video scopes and audio levels
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects is a plus
