Job Description

As a Freelance Creative Producer at Mechanimal, your main responsibilities will include building relationships with venues and programmers, identifying opportunities for touring and projects, creating tour schedules, supporting logistics and planning, contributing creatively to new work, and assisting with fundraising and general producing tasks.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a track record of producing contemporary devised theatre, experience with international touring, knowledge of UK and EU arts funding landscape, collaboration with HE institutions, a passion for environment and nature-related themes, expertise in creative tech elements like projection mapping and sound design, strong communication skills, and a collaborative spirit.

Details

This is a freelance role with a 5-month fixed term, with the possibility of extension. The position can be based anywhere in the UK, offering flexible remote working. The compensation is £250/day for 6-8 days per month, with flexibility in scheduling. Candidates must attend essential events as required.
