Job Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Freelance Video Editor located in Washington, DC with flexibility for some remote work. The Freelance Video Editor will be responsible for editing long-form documentary projects.

Requirements

• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Experience in motion graphics, sound design, and color correction
• Able to make a scene work
• Collaborate with team members including post-production manager, director, and exec director
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Experience in long-form video work20
• Experience working with and adhering to brand guidelines and following editorial standards
