WLUK is seeking a Part-Time Video Editor to join their team of journalists. The role involves editing video news elements for digital and broadcast platforms, with a focus on weekend evening coverage. Job responsibilities include:

• Editing video for weekend news coverage
• Receiving news feeds from various sources
• Collaborating with anchors, reporters, and producers on video elements

Requirements and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have:

• Previous training in non-linear editing and digital media (preferred)
• Familiarity with Avid NewsCutter XP editing technology (a plus)
• Ability to work effectively with different personalities while maintaining professionalism
