Job Description

• Developing timing and pacing of motion, based on audio requirements
• Working with story editors to merge various layers of animation
• Recording dialogue for animation where necessary
• Collaborating with other creatives including designers, scriptwriters, and animators to finalize projects
• Brainstorming and executing animation decisions for engaging transitions and motion
• Creating final animation using elements like illustrations, video footage, voiceover, music, etc.

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of design, typography, composition, illustration, and motion graphics
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects
• Understanding of basic filmmaking principles such as the rule of thirds, the 180-degree rule, jump cuts, etc.
• Motivated, collaborative, exceptionally creative, organized, and committed to delivering high-quality work

Other Information

• Looking for someone experienced in creating motion graphic videos, including logo animations and long-form
• Portfolio of work must include video examples as an animator, bonus if with illustration skills
• This is a freelance position with a pay range of $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week, Monday to Friday schedule
• Work location: Remote
