Job Description:
GuitaristGarrett Smith is seeking a metal guitarist to perform electric guitar over a band backing track and eventually a full band. The role also involves performing acoustic guitar at smaller duo shows, incorporating genres like country, Southern Rock, and classic rock into the setlist.
Requirements:
- Communication: No ghosting, responds in a timely manner.
- Agreeable: Zero drama.
- Reliable: Follows instructions, shows up on time.
- Able and willing to perform metal and 90% originals in a setlist.
- Located within a decent commute of Temple, TX (Waco - Austin region).
Preferred Qualification:
Prior experience performing with bands in the rock and/or country scene.
Bonus Qualification:
Ability to perform with a looper.
Other Information:
- Pay: Each performance’s pay divided among members. Minimum pay range $100-150 per show.
- Live Performances: Shows mainly in the Waco/Temple/Austin area with occasional road trips.
- Dealbreakers: Behaviors that may lead to termination from the band.
- All venues must certify a safe environment for women.
