Job Description

The Graphic Designer creates and provides artwork for a variety of print and web media for Calvary Albuquerque ministries. This includes designing brochures, ads, banners, postcards, flyers, lanyards, and posters by developing concepts, producing artwork, and coordinating with ministries and vendors to meet project needs.

Essential Tasks include creating bulletin content and layout, pre-service slides, website graphics, interacting with vendors/printers, designing print collateral and merchandise, and producing banners/posters.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years of professional experience
• Strong design, layout, and production skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of prepress file preparation and web content
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office
• Ability to receive feedback and work well under pressure
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Portfolio of past graphic arts projects
• Passion for ministry and belief in the vision of Calvary Church
• Trustworthy, dependable, self-motivated, and problem solver
• Urgency, professionalism, adaptability, and time management skills
