Job Description

A Pianist at Von Maur provides a pleasant shopping environment by playing piano music for customers’ enjoyment. The primary responsibilities include:

• Playing a selection of music on the piano according to current guidelines.
• Playing customer requests and greeting customers courteously.
• Preparing new music to add to the repertoire and varying the type of music played throughout the shift.
• Dusting and polishing the piano regularly to keep the playing area neat.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for the Pianist position at Von Maur should possess the following qualifications:

• Ability to play the piano with minimal errors, may play by memory, ear, or read music.
• Courteous and customer-focused demeanor.
• Ability to prepare and add new music to the repertoire.
