Job Description

Single Friendly Church Network is seeking a creative Social Media Manager to develop and implement a new social media strategy to raise awareness, inspire churches and individuals, and drive engagement to our resources and website. The role involves creating compelling content, collaborating with the team, staying updated on social media trends, and contributing to the wider work of SFCN.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have experience in producing content for social media in a not-for-profit context, developing social media strategies across platforms, graphic design and video editing skills, strong copywriting abilities, and a record of being a collaborative team player. Knowledge of Christian culture and traditions, a commitment to SFCN’s mission, and an understanding of the challenges faced by single people in churches are essential. Additional experience with supporter or church engagement is desirable.

Contract Terms

Freelance role for 10-15 hours per week at £22 per hour, with potential for role expansion beyond social media management.
