Job Description

We are seeking a talented Illustrator to join our creative team. As an Illustrator, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and engaging illustrations for various projects. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your artistic skills and contribute to the overall visual aesthetic of our company.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and objectives
• Create original illustrations based on provided concepts or ideas
• Develop illustrations that align with brand guidelines and visual identity
• Use Adobe Illustrator and other design software to create high-quality illustrations
• Incorporate feedback and make revisions as necessary
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in illustration

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and other design software
• Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for detail
• Knowledge of production design principles and techniques
• Understanding of color theory and its application in illustration
• Basic photography skills to capture reference images when needed
• Familiarity with fashion design concepts and trends
• Ability to illustrate various subjects, including people, objects, landscapes, etc.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) is a plus
• Knowledge of Sketchup or other 3D modeling software is a plus
• Understanding of web design principles is a plus

Additional Information

• Job Types: Part-time, Contract
• Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
• Schedule: Choose your own hours
• Work Location: Hybrid remote in New York, NY 10010
