Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate React Native Developer with expertise in integrating wearable health APIs, specifically for Apple Watch and Android Watch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing robust, efficient, and user-friendly applications that seamlessly integrate with wearable devices to track and analyze health vitals. This role requires a strong understanding of React Native development principles, as well as experience working with wearable device APIs and health data.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain React Native applications that integrate with Apple Watch and Android Watch APIs to collect health data.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement features related to wearable health integration.

3. Design and implement intuitive user interfaces for displaying and interacting with health data collected from wearable devices.

4. Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of applications across various wearable devices and platforms.

5. Stay updated on the latest developments in wearable technology and health APIs.

6. Troubleshoot and debug issues related to wearable device integration and health data synchronization.

7. Optimize application code for efficiency and maintainability.

8. Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

2. Proven experience in React Native development for iOS and Android platforms.

3. Demonstrated expertise in integrating wearable device APIs, particularly for Apple Watch and Android Watch.

4. Familiarity with health data standards such as HealthKit and Google Fit APIs.

5. Contributions to open-source projects or personal projects showcasing expertise in wearable device integration and health tracking.

Other Details

Location: This position is based at our Ipswich office, with the possibility of remote work.
