Job Description

Junior Application Developer - full-time, on-site. We are seeking a full-time Junior Application Developer to join our Information Services Team here in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role will be part of our full-time on-site. Once oriented, the role may be more of a hybrid position, working 2-3 days per week from a home office.

What will you do?

• Work closely on-site with our Senior Application Developer to develop new processes, interfaces, and applications
• Assist in maintaining current databases
• Primary focus will be on claims processing
• Opportunities to grow and expand your knowledge and skills with the rest of our team

Requirements

What is needed to be successful in this role?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of data modeling concepts and design fundamentals
• Experience in maintaining Microsoft SQL databases
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL
• Familiar with ETL concepts and solutions
• Prefer proficiency in business intelligence software such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense
• Prefer Python experience
