Job Description

Trissential is currently seeking a Part-Time UX/UI Designer to join our remote client team in Minneapolis, MN. The designer will collaborate with the client’s digital and customer experience team to conceive, design, and test improved digital experiences. Responsibilities include creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, high-fidelity mock-ups, and maintaining UX documentation. Additionally, leading usability testing initiatives and making strategic design decisions are key aspects of the role.

Requirements

  • User Research: Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability tests.
  • Information Architecture: Organize content for navigation and accessibility.
  • Wireframing and Prototyping: Create high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes.
  • Visual Design: Apply color theory, typography, and layout principles.
  • Interaction Design: Design interactive elements and animations for user engagement.
  • User Testing: Test designs with real users for feedback and improvement.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Design Tools: Mastery of software such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or InVision.
  • Minimum of three years of digital design experience.
  • Experience with Figma UX software and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Understanding of mobile-first, responsive design, and ADA standards.
  • Experience with usability testing, A/B testing, and clear communication of design processes.
  • Passionate about digital design and innovation with strong communication skills.

Benefits

This part-time role offers a pay range between $55 - $65 per hour on a contract basis.

Additional Information

  • Preference given to candidates with experience designing Portal experiences in insurance, financial services, or health care industries.
