Job Description

This part-time hybrid role for Musician, located in Greater Bristol Area, United Kingdom, involves composing, arranging, and performing music for recording sessions, live performances, and events. Responsibilities include collaborating with music producers and other musicians, adapting to different musical styles and instruments, and some work from home.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in at least one instrument (e.g., guitar, piano, drums), reading sheet music, and composing music
• Experience in various musical styles (e.g., jazz, rock, classical) and performing in different settings (e.g., bands, orchestras, ensembles)
• Understanding of audio equipment, sound engineering, and recording software
• Bachelor’s degree in music or related field desirable but not required
• Interdisciplinary experience in sound design, arranging, or music theory is a plus
• Ability to work independently and in a team, handle feedback constructively, multitask efficiently, and deliver high-quality work on a tight schedule
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a grasp of how to market and promote music
