Position: Cataloger / Web Designer

We are seeking a highly motivated Cataloger / Web Designer to join our team at Daniels Antiques/ Daniels Auction Gallery. This role entails a blend of responsibilities including cataloging items, designing and maintaining our website on Squarespace, and ensuring excellent written communication throughout.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough research to accurately catalog items for auction, including descriptions and historical context.
2. Design and maintain the company website using Squarespace, ensuring a visually appealing and user-friendly interface.
3. Demonstrate excellent writing and reading skills to craft compelling descriptions and content for the website and auction catalogs.
4. Utilize Google Workspace, Google Sheets, and Excel proficiently for organizing data and managing inventory.
5. Preferred experience in Photoshop to enhance visual content for the website and marketing materials.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience with Google Workspace, Google Sheets, and Excel.
2. Proficiency in website design using Squarespace or similar platforms.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
5. Preferred experience in Photoshop for image editing.
6. Ability to work remotely and manage own schedule effectively.
