Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team, working on-site with one of our top banking clients. The ideal candidate will have multiple years of hands-on experience in Java development within the banking industry. As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining mission-critical banking applications, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and implementing high-performance, scalable, and secure Java-based banking applications
• Utilising technologies such as Java, Go, Spring Framework, Apache Kafka, Jenkins, Couchbase, and Postgres/Postgresql to build robust and efficient solutions
• Collaborating with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver innovative solutions
• Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry standards and best practices
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues to ensure the reliability and stability of banking applications
• Conducting code reviews, providing technical guidance, and mentoring junior developers
• Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation

Requirements:

• Multiple years of professional experience in Java development, within the banking industry
• Strong proficiency in Java, Go, Spring Framework, Apache Kafka, Jenkins, Couchbase, and Postgres/Postgresql
• Experience with banking systems, financial products, and regulatory requirements
• Solid understanding of security principles and best practices in banking applications
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
