Job Description

As a Web Designer, you will collaborate with clients or stakeholders to understand their vision and requirements. You will brainstorm and conceptualize original website design ideas that align with the project’s goals. Responsibilities also include developing wireframes, storyboards, and user flows, creating visually appealing web pages, designing user-friendly interfaces, adapting designs for various devices, working closely with front-end developers, and staying informed about industry trends.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, experience with version control systems like Git, knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, and understanding of testing and debugging processes. Additionally, skills in search engine optimization (SEO), effective communication, adaptability, problem-solving, responsive design, user experience, user interface, and color theory are essential.

Highly Desired/Preferred

The candidate with familiarity with cloud computing environments, especially MS Azure, proficiency in PowerBI for data visualization, and experience with ESRI or other web-based mapping solutions will be highly desired/preferred for this role.
