Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Graphic Artist to undertake occasional, part-time 1099 consulting work. The role involves creating graphics, logos, or illustrations for proposal documents, sales presentations, or marketing materials. The position can be performed remotely, but candidates local to the DC Metro region are preferred. Work hours can be flexible to accommodate other job commitments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Proposal and Business Development teams to grasp design requirements
• Use design software to create graphics, logos, and illustrations that align with business objectives
• Seek feedback from managers to ensure designs meet standards and brand expectations
• Estimate effort required for specific design tasks
• Contribute to proposal efforts to enhance the overall presentation

Requirements

• At least 1 year of graphic design experience
• Proficiency in design software like Illustrator or Photoshop

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, or related field
• 5+ years of professional graphic design experience
• 2+ years of creating graphics for proposal documents, sales presentations, or marketing materials
