Job Description

This is a contract hybrid role for a Freelance Event Manager at The Jenelle Group, Inc. The Event Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of planning and executing live and virtual events with a focus on logistics. This includes managing vendor relationships, creating and managing budgets, overseeing event timelines, end-to-end registration management, coordinating on-site setup and tear-down, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The role is based in New York City with most work being remote.

Requirements

• 3+ Years experience managing event registration
• 5-7+ Years event planning and project management experience
• Detail-oriented with a love for details
• Ability to manage budgets and negotiate contracts with vendors
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Creative thinking and attention to detail
• Experience with event technology and logistics management
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience in experiential marketing or agency environment is a plus
• Access to a vehicle (must have a valid driver’s license)
