Job Description

In the position of Visual Designer, you will play a key role in supporting the team’s workload, optimizing the production process, and contributing to a smooth workflow. You will collaborate with the DMI Visual Merchandising and Retail Design team on various projects, including creating POS elements for new launches, global retail initiatives, brand innovation, and daily operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop product staging for launches across different POS touchpoints.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent retail experiences.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for launch strategies and design directions.
• Create accurate 3D models of new products for internal use.
• Develop compelling 2D graphics for global POS usage.
• Maintain design consistency and reinforce the brand’s image globally.
• Track deadlines and facilitate smooth transitions between projects.
• Stay updated on design trends, innovation, and new materials.

Job Knowledge & Skills

• Strong creativity and eye for design elements.
• Excellent layout skills.
• Experience in 3D and 2D/graphic design.
• Knowledge of visual merchandising.
• Ability to create realistic mockups.
• Understanding of art and design principles.
• Basic knowledge of print and production processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
• Fast learner and collaborative team player.
• Preferably familiar with the cosmetics/beauty industry.

Software

• Proficiency in Sketch-Up and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Familiarity with Microsoft applications and basic Mac system/software.

Qualifications & Education

• Four-year degree in industrial, interior, or graphic design preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in retail merchandising.
