Job Description

Health Security Partners is seeking a Website Designer (individual contractor or company) to work with the Indonesian Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) Secretariat of the Ministry of Health in Indonesia. The main objective is to create an aesthetically-pleasing and user-friendly website.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with FETP Secretariat to understand requirements, objectives, and target audience.
• Creating visually appealing and user-friendly website layouts.
• Designing responsive web layouts for different devices.
• Working with web developers to ensure accurate implementation.
• Incorporating UX design principles and enhancing usability.
• Adhering to web design best practices, accessibility standards, and SEO.
• Delivering design files, assets, and specifications to the development team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Informatics Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in web design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience in creating responsive web designs and familiarity with CSS and HTML.
• Understanding of UX design principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of current web design trends and emerging technologies.
• Self-motivated, resilient, and able to meet project deadlines.

Timeline

The Consultant will start in April/May 2024 and work until 29 September 2024 or upon project completion. The timeline will be agreed upon by the Web Designer, Health Security Partners, and the FETP Secretariat.

Additional Information

This position is a contract position funded by an external grant. Compensation is based on a daily rate depending on experience.
