Job Description
Our company, a leading energy solutions provider in New York City, is looking for a skilled freelance animator to create engaging animations or GIFs to explain power generation processes such as steam cycle, simple cycle, and combined cycle powerplant. The animator will collaborate with the team to develop storyboards, sketches, and visual concepts, ensuring accuracy in depicting components and technical information.
Requirements
Qualifications for this role include proven experience in animation, proficiency in software like Adobe After Effects or Maya, understanding of power generation processes, strong visual storytelling skills, attention to technical accuracy, and excellent communication and collaboration skills. A portfolio showcasing relevant animation work is necessary.
Additional Information
This is a freelance contract position for 1-2 months, with a preference for on-site work in Queens, though remote work may be considered. Compensation is based on experience and complexity of the animation.
