Job Description

Our company books over 1,000 events annually throughout New England and is now hiring the following roles:

• Artists - training provided on face painting and balloon twisting with future opportunities to learn other creative skills.
• Characters - training available as pirates, fairies, and more characters with face painting and balloon twisting.
• Circus Performers - training provided on stilt walking, juggling, and balloon twisting with future opportunities to learn other circus skills.

Work is mainly on weekends with the opportunity for extra hours during the week. Training and all necessary supplies are provided. Gigs are typically 1.5-3 hours long, with around 1-2 gigs per weekend. Must be willing to travel within MA, including Boston.

Requirements

• Artists: 1 year of experience with art or working with kids. Crafty individuals with positive personalities preferred.
• Characters: 1 year of acting, singing, or childcare experience. Headshots and vocal samples required for certain roles.
• Circus Performers: Must love kids, be entertaining, and have 1 year of childcare or customer-facing experience.
• Must have consistent weekend availability, own car, valid driver’s license, and pass a background check.

Additional Information

• Pay starts at $30/hr with raises based on experience. Tips from clients are encouraged, and bonuses and travel pay are available.
• Training provided in Milford, NH office on weekends with unpaid training hours but full pay starting at your first event.
• No need to invest in supplies as all necessary items are provided to you.
• Growth opportunities include learning new skills, getting raises, and picking up additional hours. Full-time transition is rare.
