Job Description
- Provide development and support for the customer-facing design system
- Act as a designer-developer, contributing to design and development
- Develop reusable and responsive interactive patterns and code libraries
- Create clean semantic HTML markup that meets accessibility standards
- Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX design standards
- Collaborate with various teams for successful implementation
- Research, design, test, and coordinate UX designs into the codebase
- Participate in conceptualizing and prioritizing product UX strategies
- Develop maintainable code that follows best practices
- Work with team members to develop UI prototypes and interfaces
- Maintain design files, wireframes, and mock-ups
- Stay current on UI trends and programming techniques
- Work cross-organizationally with multiple teams
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in front-end web application development
- Experience creating design solutions based on end-user needs
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with human-centered design techniques
- Understanding of accessibility best practices
- Additional certifications/training in UI/UX design or web development is preferred
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and React
- Familiarity with screen reader tools and user frameworks
- Proficiency in visual design and user research best practices
- Ability to launch experiences across multiple touch points
- Expertise in cross-browser compatibility and performance considerations
- Experience using technology storyboarding tools
