Job Description:

The ideal candidate for the role of Social Media Video Editor should have a passion for creating high-quality video content for various social media platforms. They will be responsible for editing both long-form and short-form videos for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into polished videos with smooth transitions, proper pacing, and seamless integration of audio and visual elements.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Trim footage segments, compile video sequences, and incorporate motion graphics, 3D animation, and visual effects.
• Enhance video quality through post-production techniques like color correction and audio adjustments.
• Maintain consistent visual style in all videos according to brand guidelines.
• Manage video files, organize assets, and ensure an efficient workflow.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing techniques and software.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer.
• Strong understanding of post-production processes including color grading, audio mixing, and visual effects.
• Familiarity with photo editing tools like Capture One, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Bridge.
• Knowledge of motion graphics software like Maya or Cinema 4D is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills to convey ideas effectively.
