Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced .NET Developer with expertise in tax systems and financial applications to join our team. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions using C#, Web APIs, and MS SQL Server.
Responsibilities include translating business requirements into technical solutions, establishing coding standards, conducting code reviews, troubleshooting application issues, and collaborating with various stakeholders to optimize performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as finance, statistics, mathematics, or computer science.
- Three (3) years of experience in system development life cycles and application software.
- Proficiency in C#, Web APIs, and MS SQL Server for full stack .NET development.
- Experience with tax systems of record and financial application domain.
- Knowledge of general database design principles and software engineering best practices.
- Strong communication, collaboration, critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Other Information
- The position is a 12-month contract with a possibility of extension.
- The compensation package includes an hourly pay ranging from $43.97 to $52.95.
- The expected hours of work are 40 per week with a hybrid remote work model in New Orleans, LA.
- The candidate should have experience with GenTax application, a background in development in a tax environment, and tax administration experience.
