Role Description:
This is a contract role for a Game Visual Effect (VFX) Artist with GAME PILL. As a VFX Artist, you will be responsible for creating and implementing stunning visual effects in our games. Your day-to-day tasks will include designing and animating visual effects, collaborating with other team members to integrate effects into gameplay, and optimizing effects for performance. This is a hybrid role, based in the Greater Toronto Area, with the flexibility to work remotely.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in creating and animating visual effects
• Experience with industry-standard VFX software and tools
• Strong artistic and technical skills
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members
• Experience in game development or related field
• Knowledge of real-time rendering techniques and performance optimization
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• Passion for gaming and staying up-to-date with industry trends
