Job Description
The Artist-Center for Performing Arts Medicine (CPAM) at Houston Methodist is responsible for creating a welcoming, inspiring environment through classical, cultural, popular, and traditional performances. They aim to relieve anxiety, rejuvenate, and support healing journeys. The position involves performing in public areas within the hospital system, adjusting selections based on audience feedback and safety considerations. The Artist-CPAM maintains professional boundaries and collaborates with other departments like Security and Spiritual Care.
Requirements
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: Professional artist with at least five years of experience
Skills: Proficiency in English, communication skills, customer service focus
Supplemental Requirements
Work Attire: Business professional
On-Call: No requirement for on-call responsibilities
Travel: May require travel within the Houston Metropolitan area
