Job Description

We are seeking a talented Social Media Manager to join our team. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing Long Beach Heritage’s social media presence across all platforms. Your duties will include creating posts and stories, generating content regarding historic preservation in Long Beach, creating reels/videos, managing and scheduling social media posts weekly, and developing consistent branding and voice across all platforms.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must be very proficient with social media platforms, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong time management skills, and exhibit a positive attitude with a willingness to learn. They should be able to work independently and as part of a team. The position requires effective marketing skills, the ability to establish trust, and promote positive interactions with a diverse community. A minimum of two years of social media marketing experience is required.
