Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Audio/Video Engineer to join our podcast team. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring, operating, and optimizing our audio setup, as well as mixing and mastering episodes to ensure the highest audio quality. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and a passion for storytelling through sound.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and configure audio hardware and software for recording sessions.
• Support audio equipment during recordings to capture clear and high-quality sound.
• Edit, mix, and master podcast episodes using professional audio editing software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any audio issues to ensure minimal disruption during recordings.
• Collaborate with producers and hosts to achieve the desired sound for each episode.
• Maintain audio equipment and software, ensuring everything is up-to-date and functioning optimally.
• Provide technical support and training to team members on new audio equipment and software.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in audio production.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an audio engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficient in audio editing software (e.g., Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, Logic Pro).
• Strong understanding of audio hardware and signal flow.
• Excellent hearing and sound recognition skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Music Production, or related field is preferred.
