Job Description

As a Graphic Designer with our organization, this role will play a dynamic role in two vital areas: collaborating with our design team to craft compelling visual narratives that resonate with our community and extending creative talents to our outreach ministry, ReachOut, to foster meaningful connections, engagement, and bringing their experiences to life.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design Collaboration: Partner closely with our design team to conceptualize and execute visual assets for various projects, ensuring consistency and excellence in brand representation.
• Ministry Outreach: Engage with our outreach ministry to understand their unique needs and goals, creating visually impactful materials that facilitate effective communication and connection with our community.
• Collaborative Ideation: Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative discussions, offering insights and ideas to elevate the quality and effectiveness of our visual communications.

Requirements

• Experience with graphic design
• Knowledge and experience in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop, and the ability to use AfterEffects to create simple animations in order to push files to social media channels

• Willing to learn new skills and be able to translate design to be used on social media.

Scheduling Requirements:

• This job will work out of Oakley in a traditional 9-5 capacity.
• This role is dedicated full-time, as a temporary position until January, 2025.
