Job Description

This person will be responsible for creating live, e-learning, and video instructional content to meet the specific subject matter requirements of a fast-paced and matrixed federal organization. The role involves working primarily in a telework stance for a six-month period with potential for extension, reporting directly to an off-site Program Manager while taking daily direction from the organization’s Dean, Staff Academy. The ideal candidate should have a proven background in instructional design, flexibility, agility, and high levels of personal organization to meet the needs of a fast-paced organization with stakeholders having varying interests. Although this position is primarily remote, there could be onsite work required.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in learning development or instructional design.
• Degree/certification in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Distance Learning, or related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in Articulate Storyline 360 and proven knowledge of/experience with Adobe Creative Suite, and video editing software.
• Experience with graphic design and animation tools preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to operate effectively in a team environment.
• Proven experience in managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Excellent organizational skills.
