Job Description

We are seeking a Motion Graphics Designer with 8 years of professional entertainment motion graphics experience to join our in-house video creative team in Santa Monica, CA. The ideal candidate will be proficient in graphic animation, concepting, storyboarding, editing, and finishing dynamic video promos for broadcast quality content trailers/promos for leading entertainment media brands. They must be highly collaborative and detail-oriented, capable of preserving brand voice and personality in all creative executions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in motion graphics design, preferably in a creative marketing space
• Strong graphic design skills with expertise in composition, color, typography, and graphic language
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly in After Effects
• Experience in video editing with sound design is a plus
• Proven track record of concepting, storyboarding, and presenting creative concepts
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality control and accuracy

The role involves reporting to the Motion Graphics lead within the Creative Studio, advocating for brand consistency, managing digital assets, researching and innovating motion design skills, and self-managing tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to anticipate challenges and provide solutions, and continuously advance their motion graphics skills to share knowledge with colleagues.
