Job Description

We are seeking a Laravel Full Stack Developer to create a web application using Laravel, Blade and Livewire. You will optimize the user journey through the web application.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop full stack web applications with Laravel and Livewire
• Create chat/conversation UI for streaming conversations
• Utilize HTML, CSS/SCSS, Javascript, and PHP
• Implement WebSockets and Server Side Events
• Test for Accessibility and compatibility
• Apply software development best practices (version control, test-driven development, automated testing)
• Implement security protocols and conduct internal security testing
• Set up cloud-based solutions like AWS Elastic Beanstalk and configure web servers with Nginx on Linux/Unix
• Work with UK Government Design System and standards
• Utilize cloud APIs, create APIs, and understand microservices

Requirements

• Excellent understanding and experience of full stack web development with Laravel and Livewire
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS/SCSS, Javascript, and PHP
• Experience developing chat/conversation UI for streaming conversations
• Familiarity with WebSockets and Server Side Events
• Testing for Accessibility and compatibility
• Experience with version control, test-driven development, and automated testing platforms
• Understanding of common security issues and application of best practices
• Working knowledge of cloud-based solutions like AWS, including Elastic Beanstalk
• Experience with UK Government Design System and standards
• Knowledge of cloud APIs, API building, and microservices
