Job Description

We are looking for a Tactical UI/UX Designer specialized in newsletter and email marketing design to join our Media & Journalism team on a Contract-to-Hire basis. This role involves the tactical implementation of design tasks, focusing on newsletters and email marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Marketing Strategy team to gather requirements and translate them into actionable design tasks.
• Create visually appealing designs using tools like Chameleon, Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Suite.
• Draft email marketing campaign templates and incorporate content provided by writers.
• Conduct user testing to ensure the usability of designed materials.
• Coordinate newsletter designs with product managers to align with strategic goals.
• Implement phased approaches for newsletter designs.

Requirements

• Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Suite.
• Specialization in newsletter and email marketing design, particularly retention-facing designs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in HTML and CSS is a plus.
• Demonstrated track record in designing engaging content for email marketing campaigns.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Other Information

This position is a full-time contract with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role. The pay range is between $40.00 - $45.00 per hour with benefits including 401(k), dental, and health insurance. The work location is hybrid remote in Atlanta, GA 30328.
