Job Description
EIT is seeking a Web Designer to provide support in developing and maintaining agency website content. The role involves designing, configuring, and managing websites for both internal and external communications, aligning with FAA’s website strategies and goals. The Web Designer must ensure that FAA branding and Internet configuration requirements are met and be proficient in designing websites compliant with Section 508 standards. Additionally, the role involves utilizing various software tools to create high-quality textual and graphic compositions for effective communication of technical information.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of related experience. Proficiency in web design tools and technologies such as SharePoint, Tableau, JAVA, Perl, and FrontPage extensions is required. Strong knowledge of Section 508 compliance and E-Business practices is essential. Experience with desktop publishing, page layout software, and multimedia content integration is preferred.
