Job Description:
The Jr. Photographer/Photo Assistant at Quad is responsible for producing high-quality photography and supporting various members of the production team in a busy photo studio environment.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing circular ad proofs and providing images as needed
- Driving e-commerce image searches and product photography
- Coordinating image processing from production to postproduction
- Working with talent for photo processing and retouching
- Communicating deadlines and instructions to clients and production team
- Maintaining client satisfaction and confidence
- Working with Studio Producer for schedule adherence
- Executing digital product photography for various platforms
- Tracking projects and maintaining shot lists
- Supporting Studio Producer with on-set needs and troubleshooting
- Maintaining studio equipment and environment
Requirements:
- Associate or Trade School Degree in relevant fields or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 years of photo production assisting experience in a high-volume studio
- Demonstrable photography skills and abilities in a working portfolio
- Knowledge of photography techniques, equipment, and lighting
- Experience with image retouching and manipulation software
- Understanding of workflows for still and video productions
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Experience in e-commerce photo studio settings
- Proficient in various software including Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office
Other Information:
Employees can expect to be paid an hourly range of $23.00 to $26.00/hour based on skills and experience.
