Job Description

The Media Manager at socialtopia will work closely with the Creative Media Manager to edit video and photo content for various purposes, such as social media, internal use, or external clients. The ideal candidate should be able to work efficiently, handle feedback constructively, and produce high-quality final products that meet client expectations.

The role involves full production of short videos, attending team meetings, possessing strong storytelling skills, attention to detail, and quick turnaround times. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, editing for various social platforms, audio editing for podcasts, and creating engaging YouTube thumbnails is required. The role may also require attending client photo/video shoots and owning equipment like a 4K camera, tripod, lighting, and microphones.

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year experience with Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop

- Ability to relocate to Monroe, NY before starting work

- Must have reliable transportation and a home office setup with necessary equipment

- Strong multitasking abilities, professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail

- Familiarity with editing for social media platforms and audio editing for podcasts

- Able to work 20-32 hours per week
