Filming a of an operetta

Videographer is needed in The Hague, Netherlands.

On the 25th of may my opera company with be performing Ubu Roi in the centre of the Hague and I would like the performance recorded as well filming it over the course of a day or so to create a film.

'Ubu Roi’ is the first operetta from Binbag productions, bringing you the story of three troublesome characters mercilessly fighting for power.

Adapted from scenes from the Alfred Jarry play of the same name we follow the humorous and ridiculous exploits of these vile characters as they plot and scheme while trying and failing to gain power for themselves.

Now more then ever this story of greed and power, highlighting the lack of regard shown by those in charge for the people they are supposed to be protecting, is relevant today as politicians all around us choose to serve the few rather then the many.

Taking inspiration from silent movies, pantomime and grotesquely flamboyant baroque operas Binbag productions turns classical conventions on their head to playfully poke fun at the absurdity of existence in these often troubling times.

I need a videographer to film the performance. There will also be dress rehearsal on th 20th and 21st which might be recorded, but this can be discussed, depending on what kind of shots etc you need.
