Job Description

Full Stack Java Developer position based in Jersey City, NJ. The role requires proficiency in Full Stack development with Java 11, MicroServices, Spring Boot, Rest API, Serverless DB (Cassandra, Cockroach), Kafka, AWS, and React. The job involves utilizing Agile methodologies, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Test Driven Development. Preferable skills include Domain Driven Design and Cloud Deployment.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Full Stack Development and multiple design techniques
  • Working proficiency in Full Stack toolset for software development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency, and security
  • Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages
  • Understanding of software engineering disciplines including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement
  • Minimum required skillset: Java 11, MicroServices, Spring Boot, Rest API, Serverless DB (Cassandra, Cockroach), Kafka Experience, AWS, React
  • Preferable skillset: Domain Driven Design and Cloud Deployment

Other Information

The position is Contract or Temporary with a pay rate between $65.00 - $70.00 per hour. Benefits include 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, and paid time off. Working schedule is Monday to Friday with an 8-hour shift. The role allows for a hybrid work setup, with 3 days onsite in Jersey City, NJ, and 2 days remote. Prospective candidates must be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Jersey City, NJ 07302.
