Job Description

At Webfitters, we are a collaborative team of designers, developers, and thinkers focusing on solving business problems through technology. We are seeking a talented UX Web Designer to create user-centered designs that enhance user experience and engagement. The role involves collaborating with teams to translate business requirements into compelling design solutions across various projects.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project goals, user needs, and business requirements.
  • Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and mockups to visualize design concepts.
  • Develop design solutions prioritizing usability, accessibility, and visual appeal.
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and user testing results.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure successful implementation of designs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UX design.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the design process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a UX designer with a strong design portfolio.
  • Proficiency in Adobe design tools and WordPress.
  • Knowledge of user research methods and usability principles.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work on time.
  • Loose familiarity with front-end development technologies is a plus.
  • Experience designing for responsive web and mobile platforms is preferred.

  • Job Type: Part-time
  • Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
  • Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
  • Experience level: 2 years
  • Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday
  • Experience: UX: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Ability to Commute: Green Bay, WI 54303 (Required)
  • Work Location: In person
