Job Description:
Boston Conservatory at Berklee seeks an Audio Specialist to enhance the educational value of performances and events through top-tier audio production. This role will involve leading student teams in audio production within Performance Technology. The specialist will focus on audio production and recording, collaborating with others to enhance equipment inventory, share knowledge, and contribute to the overall production of audio, video, and livestream services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in music production & engineering or equivalent preferred
- 1–2 years of related professional experience
- Proficiency in audio mixers, audio equipment, wireless systems, and instrument amplification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage workload independently, work with diverse audiences, and oversee multiple projects concurrently
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- Basic familiarity with video camera use is preferred
